At one time, the interior of St Mary’s included raised galleries on three sides of the church. The only one now remaining is at the west end of the church, above the main door, and presently houses a non-functioning pipe organ. The Parish has received Faculty permission from the Diocese of Llandaff to remove the organ in order for us to develop this space.
We want to:
Adapt and utilize the area as a shared office space for small or growing charities, including Women Seeking Sanctuary Advocacy Group (WSSAG), to include both an area for desks and a flexible meeting space with facilities for making tea, coffee, etc.
In addition to making the space available to others it will provide an opportunity to further support and enable work with refugees and asylum seekers through the work of WSSAG
Enable charities to reduce costs by sharing resources and utilities and nurturing a collaborative and engaging environment where partnerships can be strengthened
provide a unique, creative and engaging environment in which to work
Explore possibilities of extending desk and meeting space to others beyond the voluntary sector
